For this role it is essential that you hold a full UK, manual driving licence with a minimum of 1 years’ driving experience as the people we support have their own mobility cars.
Our bank contracts offer flexibility over the days and hours you work. Tell us when you are available, and we will look to give you shifts that fit. This is a Bank (as and when required) role, meaning shifts will be offered based on service needs. If you're looking for full-time, guaranteed hours, this may not be the right fit, but if you want flexibility, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role:
As a Bank Support Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support when it’s needed most. You will help ensure consistent support during staff leave, sickness or training. To build trusting relationships with the people we support, we ask that you ideally pick up 1–2 shifts per week.
Working across our supported living and dispersed services in Greenock, you will support individuals on an outcome-based programme which will see them grow in confidence and learn life skills to increase their independence. The people we support enjoy a variety of activities and we'll be looking to you to take an active interest in their hobbies, which include going out for walks and to their social clubs, drives out in their cars, volunteering and shopping.
