Female Bank Support Practitioner (Driving Licence)

Are you looking for a rewarding role that fits around your commitments? If you share our values and you’re ready for genuine job satisfaction, then look no further.

We’re on the lookout for compassionate and creative *female colleagues with a positive attitude to join us in Greenock as Bank Support Practitioners.

For this role it is essential that you hold a full UK, manual driving licence with a minimum of 1 years’ driving experience as the people we support have their own mobility cars.

Our bank contracts offer flexibility over the days and hours you work. Tell us when you are available, and we will look to give you shifts that fit. This is a Bank (as and when required) role, meaning shifts will be offered based on service needs. If you're looking for full-time, guaranteed hours, this may not be the right fit, but if you want flexibility, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role:

As a Bank Support Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support when it’s needed most. You will help ensure consistent support during staff leave, sickness or training. To build trusting relationships with the people we support, we ask that you ideally pick up 1–2 shifts per week.

Working across our supported living and dispersed services in Greenock, you will support individuals on an outcome-based programme which will see them grow in confidence and learn life skills to increase their independence. The people we support enjoy a variety of activities and we'll be looking to you to take an active interest in their hobbies, which include going out for walks and to their social clubs, drives out in their cars, volunteering and shopping.

To be a great Bank Support Practitioner, you will bring:

  • A caring and empathetic nature
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confidence with computers and digital systems
  • The ability to work well both independently and within a team
  • Strong organisational skills

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting with meal preparation and medication
  • Providing personal care and assisting with moving and handling
  • Supporting individuals to attend appointments and community activities
  • Encouraging hobbies, interests, social opportunities and confidence-building
  • Supporting with budgeting, daily living skills and personal organisation
  • Providing emotional support and helping individuals maintain positive relationships

No two days are the same, and every shift offers the chance to make a meaningful difference.

Shift Patterns:

Our service provides 24/7 support. As part of the bank team, you may be offered:

  • Early shifts from 7:30am
  • Late shifts finishing at 8pm or 9pm
  • Sleepovers
  • Weekends and public holidays

Benefits:

  • TRFS Reward Scheme with discounts at high street and online retailers
  • Generous annual leave
  • Continuous in-house training and development opportunities
  • Refer a Friend scheme with a £150 reward
  • Free membership of Glasgow Credit Union
  • HSF Health Plan
  • Counselling and LifeWorks service
